🐝YOU’RE INVITED to join the Gentle Flow Yoga Community!🐝
“Gentle” is a state of mind. It means we learn to listen to our bodies and minds, and accept with compassion whatever we come across. While we may move at a gentler pace, and take extra care during transitions, we practice with all the effort of any other yoga class!
Explore the equilibrium between effort and ease during accessible sequencing designed to connect mind, body, and spirit. We unleash joyful freedom during rhythmic movements linked with the breath…and find steady poise through stable alignment in classic poses. Yoga mat, blocks and strap recommended. A pillow and blanket for our final relaxation pose might also be nice! Discover:
- The cycles of the breath via awareness and breathing exercises
- The connection between movement and breath
- Stable alignment in classic poses, modified for your personal anatomy
- Safe and fun transitions throughout gentle sequencing
- The philosophy of yoga
- Taking yoga off the mat into your everyday routine
